Replacing Old Attachments / Scanned Document with New Documents of the Same Type

Create a New Action.
1. In the General tab, in the Display section, tick In Attachment or Scanned Document Action Dropdown.
2. Go to Replace.
Add which type of Attachment / Scanned Document you would want to replace, choosing from the drop-down box. You may also choose whether or not to delete the old attachments. The oldest of the selected attachment type will be replaced.
To Replace Documents Manually.
Open the Client and go to History. In the example below, we can see two PPI Claim Attachments.
1. Open drop-down > Select Attachment Type > The Replace Action.
2. Select Document.
3. Click to Insert.
The oldest Attachment has been replaced by new Attachment "List", and the others have been deleted.
To Replace Documents Through Scanning in a Document
In Scanning select Scan As and select the Replace Action from the drop-down menu.
When the document is scanned into the system it will work as above, pulling up the client details from it's barcode.
