Setting up User templates

Open the User Template window

Open the User Template window

1: Click Admin from the Menu.

2: Select Users --> User Templates from the drop down list - the User Templates window will open.

Add a New Template

1: Click New from the Menu - the New Template window will open.

Enter a name for the User Template

Enter a name for the User Template

1: Key in a name for the User Template.

Select Default Display Actions

Select Default Display Actions

A Display Action sets what the User can or cannot see on the system.

1: Select the Display Actions tab - the Display Actions window will open.

2: Either Select All to allow the user to see All Actions.

3: Select the actions the User can display by clicking the check boxes.

Select Default Permissions

Select Default Permissions

User Permissions Authorise or Block users from performing tasks or viewing information.

1: Select the Permissions tab - the Permissions window will open.

2: Either Select All to authorise the user to do everything.

or

3: Select the Permissions for the User by clicking the check boxes.

Select Users Visible

Select Users Visible

1: Click the Users Viewable tab - the Users Viewable window will open.

2: Click Select All to Authorise the viewing of work for all Users. This will be done by ticking all the check boxes so that they can then be selectively unticked.

or

3: Click View All Users check box to Authorise the viewing of work for all Users, all of the time, and will automatically Authorise any New Users added later as it does not rely on individual ticks.

4: Select Users by clicking the check boxes.

Close the window

1: Click OK to Save the Data and Close the Window.

Edit a Template

Edit a Template

1: Select the Template to Edit.

2: Click Edit - the Edit Template window will open.

Follow the instructions above to Edit Data.

Delete a Template

Delete a Template

1: Select the Template to be Deleted.

2: Click Delete to Delete the Template.

3: If Deleted in Error - Click Undelete to Abort the Deletion.
