Encrypt Documents

This feature enables you to encrypt documents to ensure that documents containing personal customer information are only readable through LogiClaim (Synoptic) in order to be GDPR compliant.

Configuration

Click Admin > Config > Document Storage tab.

Tick Encrypt documents in Root Folder and click OK.

The files in the Windows Root Folder are now encrypted and are only readable by opening a document through LogiClaim.

Note: Only files generated AFTER ticking Encrypt documents in Root Folder are encrypted.

Note: The files in the temporary directory are decrypted as they are used and permenantly deleted upon closing LogiClaim.
