How to create a divider page so that scans are seperated.
You will need to install the barcode font if you do not have it already
If you do not wish to create your own separation page, you can download the PDF we have prepared from here.
Installing the barcode font
1: You do not need a licence to print a Bar code. You need to install a freeware font which is located at http://www.logican.co.uk/Downloads/Secure/Applications/LogiClaim/scanning/IDAutomationHC39M_FREE.otf
2: Download the font and save it somewhere where you can find it.
3: Open the Windows Control Panel.
4: Search the Control Panel for "Font"
5: Select View Installed Fonts - The Installed Fonts will be displayed.
6: Drag the new file that you downloaded into the Fonts window - It will be installed.
Create the document - A barcode reading *999*
1: Open Microsoft Word.
2: Type *999*
3: Center this on the page.
4: Select the text
5: Choose font "IDAutomation" Size 18 - Do not put anything else on this page.
Scanning the documents
Collect all the documents you wish to scan and put an A4 sheet as created above, with the barcode on it, between every document.
Put the documents in the scanner sheet feeder.
1: Click Scanning - the scanner window will open.
2: Click the Use divider page tick box and adjust any other required settings.
3: Click Scan to start the scan process.
To Do List
The documents will split out and be placed in the to do list. Alternatively, if the documents that were scanned had a barcode on, the will automatically be attached to the required customer and claim. Click here for instruction.
