Conditional Actions
This feature enables you to use Questionnaire Answers as conditions when running Conditional Actions.
Note: This only applies to Yes/No answers or Drop-Down answers.
Example
In our example, we will create a child action to run if one of two conditions are met for the parent action:
1. The question Have you claimed before? in the client's questionnaire has been answered No.
OR
2. The claim has never been set to the status of Closed - Successful.
Configure Your Action
1. Click Admin > Action Library > New Action.
2. Enter the relevant details in the General tab for the first action. This action will trigger another action if the conditions we set are met.
3. Click Run Now > New > the Conditional Actions window displays.
1. Select the Action To Run if the conditions are met.
2. Select Run Option to set the condition for running the action. In our example, we would only like the action to run if one or more of the rules are met.
3. In the Rules section, click Add. We will be adding more than one in our example.
4. Define your rule's condtion by clicking Add in the Conditions section.
Note: Multiple conditions can be added under one rule. If this is done, both conditions must be filled in order for the rule to be met.
Select the conditions to create your rule. In our example, we added a rule for when the Questionnaire question Have you claimed before? is answered No.
Add an Additional Rule
In the Rules section, click Add to add additional rules.
Define your rule's condtion by clicking Add in the Conditions section.
In our example, we added a rule for claims that have never had the status of Closed - Successful.
Click OK.
Upon running the action, LogiClaim verifies that all rules are met.
If all parent action conditions are met, the child action(s) will run.
If not all conditions are met, only the parent action settings are exectuted.
Introduced in Version 2018.11.4.5306 released on 8/11/2018.
