How to set up the paths for printing merged PDF documents

You will be asked to configure a Document Root Folder and a Relative Folder.

The PDF will be saved as follows.

Document Root Folder\Today's Date\File name

The file name is constructed as follows.

Action Name_Client Number_ Claim Number_ Today's Date_Time_Print Priority.pdf

Also note that the system assumes that the printer that will be printing these PDF documents is set to duplex (Double sided printing);

therefore all documents that are an odd number of pages will automatically have a blank page added.

Open the Config

1: Click Admin.

2: Select Config from the drop down list - the Config window will open.

1: Click the Action Documents Tab - the Action Documents windows will open.

2: Either type the required Documents Root folder or select it from the pop out list.

--- NOTE: if every user does not have the same shared drive the drive letter will need to be replaced with a Server Name as shown.

3: Select New to create the Relative Paths for the different letters.

1: Key in the name of the folder.

2: Key in a description for this folder so that it can be selected from a list later.

3: Click OK

To add more folders and letter types click Add as in the previous step.

1: The Relative paths will show in the list and can be changed or deleted with the Edit of Delete buttons.

1: Select the General tab.

2: Tick the check box to add a blank page between each document that is combined into the merged PDF.

3: Click OK to save and close the Config window.
