How to set up the paths for printing merged PDF documents
This is to have PDF documents saved into folders and sorted into different folders on the hard-disk.
You will be asked to configure a Document Root Folder and a Relative Folder.
The PDF will be saved as follows.
Document Root Folder\Today's Date\File name
The file name is constructed as follows.
Action Name_Client Number_ Claim Number_ Today's Date_Time_Print Priority.pdf
Also note that the system assumes that the printer that will be printing these PDF documents is set to duplex (Double sided printing);
therefore all documents that are an odd number of pages will automatically have a blank page added.
Open the Config
1: Click Admin.
2: Select Config from the drop down list - the Config window will open.
Select Action Documents
1: Click the Action Documents Tab - the Action Documents windows will open.
2: Either type the required Documents Root folder or select it from the pop out list.
--- NOTE: if every user does not have the same shared drive the drive letter will need to be replaced with a Server Name as shown.
3: Select New to create the Relative Paths for the different letters.
Complete the details
1: Key in the name of the folder.
2: Key in a description for this folder so that it can be selected from a list later.
3: Click OK
To add more folders and letter types click Add as in the previous step.
Select and complete Action Documents
1: The Relative paths will show in the list and can be changed or deleted with the Edit of Delete buttons.
2: Click OK to Save the data and close the window.
