How to Grant/Block users from running certain Actions from the Action Library

This can be done in two different ways, either from within the Action set-up, or within the User set-up

NOTE: For a User that has a User Template applied, the permission must be changed within the Template.

Changing permission from within the Action set-up

Open the Action Library

1: Click Admin from the menu.

2: Select Action Library from the drop-down menu - the Action Library will open.

1: Select the required Action to edit.

2: Click Edit - the Action Type window will open.

1: Click on the Display Users tab - the Displayed Users window will open.

2: Tick the check-boxes of the Users who will be able to access this action and untick for those blocked Users.

2: Select Users --> Users from the drop down menu - the Users window will open.

1: Select the required User.

2: Click Edit - the User's window will open.

A Display Action sets what the User can or cannot see on the system.

1: Click Display Actions tab - the Display Actions window will open.

2: If required you can start by authorising the User to see all Action Types by clicking the Select All button.

3: Change the Actions this user can see by clicking the check boxes to turn the ticks on or off to authorise or de-authorise the User.

1: Click OK to save the changes and close the window.
