Creating company Document Headers

Open the Document Library

Open the Document Library

1: Click Admin from the Menu.

2: Select Document Library from the drop down list - The Document Templates window will open

Select New Header

1: Select New from the Menu.

2: Select New Header from the drop down list - the New Header window will open.

Fill in details

1: Give the Header a Description.

2: Select Debt from the drop-down list.

3: Click the check box to turn off the Visible tick. This is done because the header should not be visible in the Document Library for users to run as it should always be attached to a document.

4: Select Letter and/or Email Header - It is mandatory to check at least one of these.

5: As this is a Header, we do not want to add a Header or a Footer to this Document.Select No Header and No Footer from the drop down lists.

1: Select Headers and Footers on the left hand menu pain.

1: Click Edit Body of Document - the Header will open in Microsoft Word.

Add required objects to Header

Add required objects to Header

1: Create the required Letter Head in Microsoft Word by inserting the required image/logo/text in the required part of the page. Note: Method of insertion will vary with different versions of Microsoft Word.

2: If required move the inserted item to the desired place on the page. (You may need to change the item's Text Wrap options in order to move it)

Press CTRL+S to save it.

Exit Microsoft Word.

1: Click OK to Save the changes and close the window.
