  18. When Queue invoice generated emails for approval before sending is ticked in Admin > General Settings > Email, even non-autogenerated emails will now queue. (8211)
  19. A user permission has been added to Users > User > Permissions > Accounts > Reverse Journal Entry that enables a user to change a journal entry.
  20. Upon amending a journal entry, the journal entry narrative is amended with a label indicating it was reversed, new journal entries are created to cancel out the original entries, and the amended entry is added. (6564)

  22. A config setting to require a property and unit on service charge sales invoices has been added to Admin > General Settings > Service Charge provided that the nominal selected is a nominal that has been added to the Service Charge Nominal Accounts Reporting Group. (9828)

  32. A page has been added after the property summary page for transactions that are associated with a property but not with a specific unit on the Statement of Account. (9286)
  33. Where a unit has multiple contacts for the same unit, each contact's details display on a separate page on the Statement of Account. (9286)
  34. You now have the option to run the Statement of Account for a service charge company by selecting the company from the top-left corner on the Statement of Account. (9286)
  35. You now have the option to set a management percentage at a property or unit level and raise management invoices based on the unit or property level when Admin > General Settings > Invoices > Set Management Percentage at property and unit level is ticked.

Defects Fixed

  1. The Activity tab now refreshes if the tab is open when performing a bank transfer. (9290)
  2. VAT now calculates properly when manually selecting a VAT code on an invoice. (9340)
  3. You are no longer able to unreconcile a budget if a subsequent budget is already reconciled.
  4. The From drop-down list now auto-populates on a client Bank Transfer form. (9290)
  5. Upon reconciling the budget,  unwarranted invoices are no longer raised to the landlord. (9615)
  6. The auto-generate Invoices Start From date no longer populates when ending a lease. (9293)
  7. Rent review and lease expiry reminders no longer generate for non-current leases. (9293)
  8. The History tab now refreshes after running the CRC statement. (9260)

  • From the 16th July 2015, new versions of Logican software will no longer support Microsoft Office 2003.

Windows 10

Microsoft SQL Server Express 2008 r2

  • This must be uninstalled before the upgrade. After the upgrade, the Microsoft uninstaller fails to work and no other version can be installed because 2008 locks the registry.
  • After the upgrade, Microsoft SQL Server Express 2014 or 2016 needs to be installed.

Microsoft Office

  • 2007 is the oldest version that will run on Windows 10.
