How to Add Contact Types

Open the Contact Types window

Open the Contact Types window

1: Click Admin from the Menu.

2: Click Contact Types from the drop down list - the Contact Types window will open.

1: Click Add to Add a Contact Type - the Add Contact Type window will open.

Fill in Descriptions

Fill in Descriptions

1: Key in a Description for the Contact Type.

2: Key a 1 word Description for the drop down in the New Contacts Menu.

Select a Contact Type

Select a Contact Type

1: Select a Contact Type from the drop down list.

Complete the rest of the details

Complete the rest of the details

1: Tick the box if this is a Special Contact.

2: Tick the box if this is a Creditor.

3: Tick the box if the Contact is allowed to be Deleted once created.

4: If you wish the Contact Type to appear in the drop down Search list - click Display in List.

5: If you wish the Contact Type to appear on the New Contact drop down list - click Visible in Main Form Menu.

6: Enter  Purchase and Nominal account Codes for this Contact Type.

7: Click OK to Save the details and close the window.
