Deleting an Investor Bank Account that is associated with the Investor's stake on a partnership
This feature has been added to prevent accounting errors occurring if a user deletes an Investor's bank account that is linked to distributing a stake for at least one partnership.
This new functionality ensures that the user selects a replacement bank account before any deletions are confirmed.
If an Investor has only one bank account, there is no option to delete the bank account.
If a user tries to delete an Investor's account that is linked to an Investor stake the below message is displayed.
It sets out the Partnerships that the Investor has a stake in that use the bank account that the user wants to delete.
The Investor Bank Account column has a dropdown list of the other bank accounts that the Investor has available.
Each Partnership must have an Investor Bank Account selected before the window can be saved.
If the user clicks Cancel then no bank accounts are deleted and no changes are made.
Changes that are made are only effective for future transactions.
Previous payments, distributions etc are still linked to the deleted account.
