Service Charge Reconciliation

This feature enables you to perform a reconciliation for service charges and generates respective invoices/credit notes.

Enable the permission from Admin > Users > select the user and click Edit or double-click the user > Permissions tab, Type Service Charge > tick Reconcile Service Charge > OK.

Open the Property Service Charge Expenditure tab.

Select a budget and double-click or click Edit.

Note: A reconciliation can only be performed once the following budget exists.

From the Budget Details window, click Reconcile

The system will compare, what was invoiced against the budget, to what was actually spent against the budget.  It then creates invoices/credit notes where necessary to make the total invoiced amount match the total amount of the tenant's/landlord's share of the actual expenses.

Note: Once a budget is reconciled, you are no longer able to create invoices with a nominal from that budget.
