Mandatory Fields
Mandatory fields are pieces of information that must be completed so that the system can work.
The Property Manager Software depends on this information for data retrieval, views, calculations and reports.
How do I know a field is mandatory?
1: Mandatory fields are highlighted with a peach background.
2. Alternatively, when a label is in red, the field it is associated with is a mandatory field.
3. A red outline appears around a field when the field is required but must be filled in when setting up a company.
4: When these fields are completed, the boxes change to the regular colour.
All mandatory fields must be completed in order to proceed.
The OK button is disabled until all mandatory fields are completed. This warns the user that the form is not yet complete.
