Deleting a MTD Report Record and Regenerating
Once a MTD Report is generated for a certain quarter, it is not possible to generate again for the same quarter and same Partnership/Investors, unless the MTD Report is deleted from the MTD Report Records list.
If a Report was deleted and then regenerated for the same quarter, Partnerships and Investors, the MTD Report name will end with 'Amended [Date]' so as to keep track of different versions of the reports that were sent out for the same quarter.
- It is only possible to delete the MTD Report for the last quarter that was generated
When deleting a MTD Report and the system is set to queue the MTD Reports to the email queue, if the reports are still in the email queue and not yet sent they will be removed from the queue
Generating MTD Reports for the same Quarter
As mentioned above, it is not possible to generate a MTD Report again for the same quarter and same Partnership/Investor combinations. This is the case even if transactions have been added in the meantime. The added transactions will be included in the next Quarter's report that is generated for the same accounting year.
It is possible to generate MTD Reports for the same quarter but for different Investor Types or Partnership Types.
If transactions have been added in the meantime, the up to date data will be displayed in the report being generated even if that Partnership was included for other Investors in the previous Report without the added transactions.
When generating the MTD Report for the same quarter and same Investor Types, but for different Partnership Types, the MTD Report will be generated for the different Partnerships and 'Additional [Date]' will be added to the file name.

Example of a MTD Quarterly Report
In this example, Tom is an Investor in 3 Partnerships with different Stake % in each of them.
- The quarter the MTD Report is generated for is Displayed at the top of the Report along with the Investor's name
- There is a column for each active Partnership the Investor has stakes in and fits the Report filter requirements
Note: Only Partnerships where this Investor is a Main Investor are listed in the MTD Report (MTD Report does not include profit share Investors)
In each Partnership column, all the MTD transactions from Q1 of that accounting year until the selected quarter's end date, are listed - The Stake % this Investor has in each Partnership is listed.
The MTD transactions for each Nominal Account Reporting Group are totaled up and the Investor's stake percentage is displayed for each Nominal Account Reporting Group.
Negative figures are listed in brackets - There is a row for each Nominal Account Reporting Group with a category of 'MTD Report'
These Nominal Groups are split in two sections Income and Expense according to what they were set as in Admin - The Tax Return Box Number set in the Admin for each Nominal Account Reporting Group is listed
If Stakes were transferred during the period reported in the MTD Report, the Report will display the data for that Partnership, split with a new column for each date range with a different Stake %.
In the example below, Tom had 50% Stakes in 'TT Partnership LTD' and then transferred 10% of his Stakes on 15 July 2025
