Mandatory fields are pieces of information that must be completed so that the system can work.

Synoptics Claims depends on this information for data retrieval, views, calculations and reporting.

2: When these fields are completed, the boxes change to the regular colour.

The OK button is greyed out until all mandatory fields are completed. This warns the user that the form is not yet complete.
