Understanding the Offer and Billing Tab
What Information is on the Offer and Billing tab?
Notes:
The Offset will be deducted from the offer before the other calculations, and is used if the Client has debts to pay before the claim is paid out.
If the Claims Management company is paid directly, then payment would need to be made to the client of his share. If not, the client will need to be invoiced for the Claim Management Company share.
How to Set Up Commissions
1: Click Admin from the menu.
2: Select Claim Types from the drop down list - the Claim Types window will open.
1: Select the Claim Type.
2: Click Edit - the Edit Claim Type window will open.
1: Select the Commissions tab and set up as follows clicking the New button to create extra lines:
2: Type a description - this will appear in the claim drop down list.
3: If a percentage is payable to the Claim Management Company, key it here.
4: If there is an Offset, money owed by the client to the bank that will be deducted before the settlement, key it here.
5: If the Claim Management Company is working on a Fixed Fee, key it here - Note: All other fields should be zero.
6: If the Claim Management Company receives a Fixed Fee IN ADDITION TO a Commission, key it here.
7: Tick the checkbox of the default commission that the Claim Management Company works for.
Click OK to save the data and close the window.
How to set the Offer and Billing tab to Update the details automatically
1: Click Admin from the menu.
2: Select Config from the drop down list - the Config window will open.
1: Click the Claim Form tab - the Claim Form window will open.
2: Click the Misc tab - the Misc window will open.
3: Tick the checkbox, Always Update All Invoicing Details.
4: Click OK to save the data and close the window.
How to Authorise a User to Amend the Offer and Billing Tab
1: Click Admin from the menu.
2: Select Users | Users from the drop down list - the Users window will open.
1: Select the user to edit from the list.
2: Click Edit - the Edit User window will open.
1: Click the Permissions tab - the Permissions window will open.
2: Tick the "Allow Editing Of Offer And Billing" checkbox to allow a user to edit.
3: Click OK to save the data and close the window.
