How to use SMS functionality

Note: Before using the SMS function, you must create an account with either, a TAPI provider, or an Email to SMS provider.

Sending a SMS using TAPI

Open the Config window

Open the Config window

1: Click Admin from the Menu.

2: Select Config from the drop-down list - the Config window will open.

Enter your SMS provider account details

1: Click the SMS tab - the SMS config window will open.

2: Select your SMS provider from the drop-down list.

3: Fill in your Account details that you have with the SMS provider.

4: Click OK to save and close the window.

 

Sending a SMS using an Email to SMS provider.

1: Click Admin from the Menu.

2: Select Config from the drop-down list - the Config window will open.

1:  Click the SMS tab - the SMS config window will open.

2: Select the Use Email Option from the drop-down list.

Fill in your account details.

1: Fill in your email to SMS acount details.

NOTE: Most users will need to tick the Replace Leading 0 with 44 check-box.

1: In a client's window press the Document Library tab - the Document Library window will open.

2: Select the Document you require to send as a SMS. Note: The SMS button will only be enabled for Documents that have been set as SMS templates. Click here for instruction.

3:Click the SMS button - the SMS window will open.

Send the SMS

1: The message body is created from a mail merge of the body of the document template which you can edit here.

2: Click Send and the SMS will send to the mobile number of the recipient set in the template options and is shown at the top of the window.
