How to Enable or Disable the Search button for a User

1: The Search button can be Activated or de-Activated for each user.

Open the Users window

1: Click Admin from the Menu.

2: Select Users from the drop down list - the list of users will be opened.

1: Click on the required User.

2: Click Edit - the Edit User window will open.

Change the Permission

1: Select the Permissions tab - the Permissions window will open.

2: Click the Search Button is Enabled check box. Tick the box to Authorise the Search button or off to De-Authorise it.

3: Click OK to Save the changes and close the window.

Note: The User will need to log off the system, then log back on, for the change to take effect.

Further Note: If the Search button is disabled, the New Client button that is behind it will not be available. The New Client button can be put on the main screen. Click here for instruction.
